COBRA Administration

Under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA), employers are required to let certain persons, known as qualified beneficiaries, continue their health coverage at group rates for a specified period of 18, 29, or 36 months depending upon the qualifying event involved.  By integrating COBRA services with automated eligibility technology, ASR makes it easier for clients to understand and administer COBRA.
