Company Overview:

ASR Health Benefits is a rapidly growing third-party administrator of health plans, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, Section 125, and consumer-directed health plans.  We administer these health plans through dedicated client service teams, consisting of staff members from each department at ASR who work together to meet our clients’ needs.

ASR is currently
seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Account Management team. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. At ASR, we follow a remote or hybrid work structure, allowing employees to work remotely and/or from the office based on specific tasks or personal work preferences.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for effective and timely communication to ensure consultant and client expectations are met. In this role, the Account Executive will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, reliability, and professionalism in every interaction in a fast-paced client service environment. The Account Executive is also expected to demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration with internal departments to ensure we deliver superior services to our clients and agent partners.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Serve as a contact to client accounts for stop loss renewals, service, contract, financial, reporting, compliance, benefit design and plan documentation needs. 
  • Analyze plan performance reports to drive practical and creative benefit solutions.
  • Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client contacts, executives, and agent partners.
  • Provide strategic input to clients to control costs, be market competitive, and ensure compliance in a complex health benefits environment.
  • Collaborate with Sales to facilitate new client implementations.
  • Additional Sales and Implementation Support, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Effective listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to present complex material in an understandable manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced and changing work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel

Bachelor’s degree in a business related major preferred. Three years’ Account Management experience in the Third-Party Administrator environment or five years in health benefit administration. The position offers an attractive salary, and an excellent benefit package, and an employer contribution to 401K.
